Hi there,
Welcome to the 10th Crisletter!
Last month I finally played Heavy Meta at Tolhuistuin, during the Amsterdam Fringe Festival.
It marks an important step in my artistic journey, as it’s my first hour-long show without (almost) any dance in it, stepping fully outside my comfort zone… to enter a new one. And it felt great.
Playing it four times in a row let me tweak it a bit every time and get to know the show better.
I’m already looking forward to doing it again, which this month will be on October 21st, at Mavis in Rotterdam. More info below.
Heavy Meta is ready to travel now, so if you know a venue anywhere in the country that might be a good fit, let me know.
This month has also been the first time in a very long time that I’m not actively working on a new show. Which is usually when the idea for something new starts passively forming in the back of my mind. So either actively or passively, something is happening.
