Hi there,
I hope the last two summer months have been good to you.
It’s been a quiet summer, a couple of gigs, and otherwise working on new projects.
One of which is Heavy Meta, my new comedy show, which I’m showing next week: I’m back at Amsterdam Fringe, this time at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam Noord (very close to Eye Filmmuseum). I'm playing it four times, from Friday September 4th to Sunday the 6th.
I'm very excited, and the excitement of having to fill those rooms is starting to manifest itself. You're invited, but also, if you've got a community, or a group where you could spread the word, that would be genuinely appreciated. You'll find more info about the show below.

HEAVY META
Heavy Meta is my first hour-long comedy show where I don’t dance.
You can read the show description written on the Amsterdam Fringe Page:
“Wow, this show-description really makes me want to watch this show.” This is what you just read. “This is what you just read”. This is what you just read. And now you are thinking “Wait, what?”.
Can I read your thoughts? No. But I can write them. I wish I could continue writing your thoughts, but they only gave me 150 words for this show-description. Now that I think about it, I could have used these first 78 words better. 81 now.
The show is called Heavy Meta. Meta as in meta-humour, meta-comedy, meta-theatre. Not Meta as in Mark Zuckerberg. I don’t want you thinking about Mark Zuckerberg when thinking of this show. Stop doing that!
Heavy Meta a show about a comedian who loves self-referential humour: humour that refers back to itself, like this sentence. And he feels guilty for not having a higher message. Which he might find, with your help.

This time I made it to the Semifinal of the Comedy Talent Award. Playing some material that might end up in Heavy Meta in September.

I had a lot of fun performing alongside the collective 155 during the impressive performance of De Staat at Down the Rabbit Hole, for some 15000 people.

13/06 at Amsterdaje, Perdu Theater, Amsterdam
It was my first time joining the Italian improv group “Amsterdaje”. I did a 10 minute set, between other improv and storytelling acts. Looking forward to perform with them again.
